Honey showed up at our home on Christmas Eve. She was very malnourished and I could tell she had been dumped. I contacted the shelter to ask what I should do and Dana was more than helpful. She helped me surrender her and then foster to adopt. This helped us get her on track with her vaccinations and spay. She tested positive for heart-worms but Dana and her staff helped me understand the process
Last July (2023) we also adopted a kitten from the shelter. The whole process from adoption to spay was amazing. Having a local shelter that really cares for their animals makes all the difference in the animals lives. Tilly is living her best life and we are thankful for the shelter! - Erica Colson

Over my December 2022 birthday weekend, I saw Murphy, a tiny boy at the shelter, up for adoption. We'd recently lost our furry companion, and our other dog was also grieving. Seeing Murphy's post from Tri County Animal Shelter felt like a sign—it was time to open our hearts again. -Kristie L
My Tabby, she adopted me, walking over to the cage for love while Mom and her siblings kept sleeping. Now she is happy fat and sassy. Love my orphan - Carroll L
