Report Your Missing Pet


If your pet is missing, please complete the form and attach a recent photo or flyer of your pet. Be sure to include any identifying details, such as:

  • Collar color
  • Bandana
  • County where the pet went missing
  • Any unique or unusual features (even small or "crazy" details can help us identify your pet).


This form is not for reporting abused or neglected animals. For urgent assistance, please contact 911.


If you have already created a flyer for your missing pet, feel free to upload it here. We can share it on our website to help spread the word.

Any available cats and dogs we have will not be on petfinder till this is resolved. Feel free to visit us or check out our adoptable cats and kittens at PETCO in Elizabeth City
