To improve the perception of the companion animal through advocacy, education, and spay/neuter.
For more than two decades, Tri-County Animal Shelter has been an integral part of our community. What began as a modest, volunteer-run initiative has blossomed into one of the area's most esteemed shelters. Our unwavering commitment to animal welfare fuels our work each and every day.
Our facilities are designed to offer the optimal environment for the animals under our care. With spacious kennels, outdoor play areas, and a dedicated team of seasoned professionals, we guarantee that every animal receives top-tier care and attention.
We have a wide variety of adoptable animals available at Tri-County Animal Shelter NC, including dogs and cats. All of our animals are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on vaccinations, and microchipped.
Please reach us at if you cannot find an answer to your question.
There are many ways to donate to our shelter! You can donate by mailing a check to our address, or drop off supplies in person. We are always in need of food, toys, blankets, and other supplies.
We recommend that you spend time with an animal before adopting to make sure they are a good fit for your family. We also offer meet and greets with other family pets to make sure everyone gets along. Our adoption counselors will work with you to find the best match for your family.
