Shelter Director
"I am proud to be the Shelter Director here at TCAS. I have been is some form of animal welfare for 30 years. I started my journey in Private Practice Veterinary Medicine, and then moved into the non profit world of Shelter Medicine until I landed in the world of Animal Sheltering. I have experience with large and small domestic animals. I have a passion for wildlife. I spend my spare time trail riding with my 11yo walking horse "Doodle". I am very encouraged with the plans we have in place for TCAS and I am look forward to working with the people in Chowan, Gates and Perquimans Counties."
Volunteer Social Media Manger
"My journey began as a kennel tech at Tri-County in 2013, and over the years, I’ve worn many hats, including adoption counselor in North Florida and veterinary technician. Each role has deepened my commitment to animal welfare. I’m also the proud mom of a Staffy mix and a Mastiff mix, which makes me a strong advocate for giving every breed a fair chance. With training from Maddie’s University, the University of Florida, and Penn Foster, I now create social media and website content that brings rescue stories to life, inspiring adoptions and raising awareness. Every post is an opportunity to educate and connect our community with the amazing animals waiting for their second chance."
